Despite the armed presence, I managed to gain access into Arkham. It all seemed too convenient - an explosion occurs, yet none of the inmates are injured. Instead a handful are set loose like the animals they are. I had to see for myself. They're saying in the news that a refrigeration unit was the cause, but I, like the police, know this isn't the case. This explosion was planned. The traces of polyisobutylene confirmed that. That isn't the real issue, though. Eight of the city's most notorious criminals are back in civilised society. You'd hope they would lay low until they get caught again, but I know that isn't The Joker's style. Lt. Gordon spoke of escalation in the past. I think we need to have talk about it now...
